In 2015, China’s total exports to the United States totaled approximately $1.07 billion. According to the US timetable, the Ministry of Commerce will make a final ruling in November, and another federal agency, the US International Trade Commission, is expected to make a ruling in December. If both of them make a positive final ruling, US Customs will formally impose a countervailing duty. In addition, the US Department of Commerce is also investigating whether there is dumping in China's truck and bus tire products.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce responded to this matter. The US decided to file a lack of facts and legal basis.
