The first robotic astronaut in the world to conduct space conversation for the first time

The first conversation between the world’s first humanoid robot astronaut and the Japanese commander of the International Space Station was advertised as the first conversation in the same category.

"Santa will come to this space," Kirobo - this 13-inch, animated character Astro Boy as a prototype, and robots programmed to communicate in Japanese told astronaut Wakaji Taichi.

If Tian Guangyi and robot Kirobo made a small dialogue on December 6th, their video footage was released on Friday and AFP reported. This conversation, although somewhat artificial, depends on what Kirobo wants from Santa (the toy rocket) and how he handles the zero-gravity environment, but it is still significant. Kirobo arrived at the space station on August 10, and Wada arrived at the International Space Station in November. Kirobo was created by advertisers Dentsu Inc., University of Tokyo, robot developer Robo Garage and automaker Toyota. It was designed as a mediator between humans and machines, and also as a possible companion for astronauts. The creators hope that with such a robot, they can ease the nervousness and loneliness of astronauts in outer space.

“When people develop relationships, the small details of communication are also an accumulation,” said developer Takahashi Takashi. “We learned important skills in how to develop a robot that can communicate with more people.”
