It consists of a gas water separator 1, a lever 2, an air valve 3, a rubber valve 4, a float 5, a drain tank 6, and a single chamber valve 7. It uses the balance between the negative pressure inside the filtration system and the buoyancy generated by the filtrate to the float, and periodically releases the filtrate automatically without additional power.
A pair of drain tanks are arranged under the gas water separator, and the floats in the tank are suspended at both ends of the lever. The illustrated position is that the rubber valve 4 in the left drain tank closes the passage of the drain tank and the gas-water separator, the air valve 3 is jacked up, and the air enters the drain tank, destroying the negative pressure in the drain tank. Forming a positive pressure zone (+), so that the filtrate accumulated in the drain tank is opened by the self-weight opening check valve; at the same time, the rubber valve in the right drain tank is opened, the air valve is closed, and the drain tank is negative. In the zone (-), the one-way valve is closed by atmospheric pressure, and the filtrate in the gas-water separator is accumulated in the drain tank. As the filtrate increases, the buoyancy of the float increases and the float gradually rises. When the float rises to a certain position, the float in the left drain tank is lowered by the action of the lever, thereby changing the working conditions of the left and right sides. At this time, the filtrate is discharged from the right drain tank, and the filtrate in the gas-water separator flows into the left drain tank.
The automatic draining device simplifies the configuration of the filtration system and has been widely adopted.
