Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision has conducted special supervision and spot checks on the quality of civilian valves produced and sold in the city. A total of 44 batches of civilian valve products were spot-checked, and four batches were rejected. The supervision and spot checks are based on QB2759-2006 "Right Angle Valves for Sanitary Ware and Heating Pipes", GB/T26712-2011 "Right Angle Valves for Sanitary Ware and Heating Pipes", GB/T8464-2008 "Iron and Copper Threaded Connection Valves". Such as national standards and related standards, the product was tested.
Spot checks found that the nominal JF-03 brass three-corner angle valve produced by Zhejiang Novel Copper Industry Co., Ltd. failed to meet the project requirements for flow and pipe thread accuracy. The quality supervision department stated that if the product flow does not reach the standard value, its use effect will be affected when it is connected with a water appliance. Pipe thread accuracy project failure will affect the installation and use of the product.
