The pump removal sequence is as follows:
(1) Unscrew the oil drain screw, open the drain valve, drain the pump's residual fluid and gearbox oil, remove the pipe and frame bolts, and remove the pump.
(2) Remove the inlet flange.
(3) Remove the impeller nut and remove the first stage impeller (right-hand pump, left-hand nut). If it is difficult to remove the impeller, remove it when the second stage impeller is removed in the next step.
(4) Remove the coupling nut between the gear box and the pump body. Use M12 bolts to screw M12 bolts into the top screw hole. The two bolts should evenly and slowly push the pump body and gear box top open. At this time, the first stage impeller can be automatically taken out. (Note: The nut of the first stage impeller must be Spin off, the rotary pump is a left-hand nut, the left-hand pump is a right-hand nut, and then the second-stage impeller, and the mechanical seal is separated from the pump body together with the gear.
(5) Remove the middle casing, pull out the second stage impeller, and remove the mechanical seal and seal seat. Pay attention to protect the dynamic and static ring mirror surfaces of the mechanical seal without scratches.
(6) After removing the gear box cover and the input bearing cover, the input shaft is driven out of the box body from the pump body side, and the drive gear is taken out from above the box body. The assembly sequence is the reverse of the disassembly sequence above. Where there is a triangular seal ring, the gap must be uniform around the impeller, and the impeller does not wipe the pump box.
