The FH-UDS diesel deep hydrodesulfurization catalyst successfully developed by the Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals has been successfully applied to five sets of industrial devices from companies such as Jinling Petrochemical and Zhenhai Refinery since its debut last year, with an annual treatment capacity of 13 million. Ton. The reporter learned from the Fushun Petrochemical Institute on August 15 that the catalyst technology just passed Sinopec technical appraisal, and the overall performance has reached the international advanced level, providing technical support for the development of China's low-sulfur diesel industry.
With the increasingly stringent environmental protection regulations, the low-sulfur diesel fuel has become the development trend of diesel in various countries. Therefore, the development of corresponding deep hydrodesulfurization catalysts becomes increasingly urgent. FH-UDS catalyst is a high activity hydrodesulfurization catalyst successfully developed by Fushun Petrochemical Institute on the basis of the original FH-DS catalyst for the requirement of Euro IV emission standard (sulfur content <50μg/g) for clean diesel production. At the end of 2004, FH-UDS high-activity hydrodesulfurization catalyst and process engineering technology were listed as Sino-Petrol's “Tatsuo Dragon†scientific and technological projects. In 2005, Sinopec’s pilot review was passed.
According to reports, this product is based on composite modified alumina as the carrier and W-Mo-Ni-Co as the active component. It has the characteristics of large pore volume, high specific surface area and high mechanical strength. Compared with the hydrotreating catalysts developed in the past, the FH-UDS catalyst effectively inhibits the generation of strong interaction between the active metal and the carrier, completes the vulcanization of the active metal, and enhances the hydrodesulfurization activity of the catalyst. The catalyst is used to process straight-through or secondary-processed diesel oil under low and medium pressure conditions. Both have excellent hydrodesulfurization, denitrification activity, and good stability. They have strong adaptability to raw materials and can produce sulfur content that meets Euro III and Euro. The diesel component required by the IV emission standard.
Since March of last year, FH-UDS catalysts have been used in industrial applications at Sinopec Zhenhai Refinery, Qilu Branch, Maoming Branch, Jinling Branch and Shanghai Petrochemical's diesel hydrogenation unit. The results show that for the existing diesel hydrogenation equipment with lower pressure, despite the low pressure of the equipment and the small volume ratio of hydrogen oil, it is still possible to meet the sulfur content <350μg/g low sulfur diesel at higher airspeed and lower reaction temperature. The production needs; by adjusting the operating conditions, can produce sulfur content of <50μg/g of low-sulfur diesel.
