It is reported that the Norwegian Kleven Shipyard has signed a contract with Rolls-Royce for the design and supply of trawlers. This trawler was ordered by a French shipowner. 
The owner of the fishing boat has decided to adopt the Rolls-Royce NVC 374 WP design. The design is capable of processing fillets on board. The fishing vessel has a storage capacity of 1,400 tons and a 550 cubic meter fishmeal storage tank.
It is understood that this ICE 1A class fishing boat is 80 meters long and will be equipped with a series of equipment from Rolls-Royce, including main engine, auxiliary machine, propeller, automation equipment, hydraulic winch and adopting wave-through design.
According to Rolls-Royce, the main considerations in ship design and equipment combination are operational efficiency, low emissions, crew comfort, safety and good airworthiness. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered by the shipyard in September 2017.
