According to PR Newswire, Lear Corporation, a US auto parts supplier, has announced that it will build a new factory in Coventry, UK, to supply parts for Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover branded cars. Lear said that the new factory site in Coventry, England, will provide seating products for Jaguar Land Rover F-type models in the first quarter of 2013, and will employ more than 60 new employees in the early stages of factory operations.
Gideon Jewel, President of Lear Europe and Africa's Seating Division, said: “We are pleased to announce that the new plant in Coventry will be completed in the first quarter of next year. We also welcome Prime Minister Cameron’s arrival in Redditch today. Redditch) visited our seat factory."
