In general, the recovery rate is increased by about 2%, and the very high viscosity oil is mixed with other oils in a 1:1 ratio, and the recovery rate is higher and the effect is particularly good. Figure 5 shows the results of flotation of molybdenum ore with five oils. The data in Figure 6 shows the relationship between the viscosity of the hydrocarbon oil collector and the grade of molybdenum concentrate. It can be seen from the figure that the low viscosity oil from kerosene to unhydrogenated hot cracked light diesel oil has a molybdenum concentrate grade of 12 ~16%. However, from high viscosity oils to two mixed oils, the grade of molybdenum concentrate is reduced to 8 to 11.6% MoS 2 .

In general, low-viscosity oil is used as molybdenite collector, and the obtained concentrate grade is low in molybdenum ore; high-viscosity oil is used as collector of Huiwai ore, and the rate is decoded, and the grade of concentrate is refined. low. If the specified recovery rate can be achieved, it is more suitable to use a low viscosity oil as a molybdenite collector.
Why is the high-viscosity oil used as a molybdenum collector, and the recovery rate will be higher? Because the viscosity of the oil (if the oil molecules are normal and heterogeneous) reflect the size of the oil molecules, the viscosity of the oil is large, the oil is strong, and the hydrophobic properties are strong. On the one hand, the fine mud-like molybdenite particles are selected. Flocculation, flocculation of these fine molybdenite particles, which are more easily adsorbed on the bubbles than individual fine-grained molybdenite particles. On the other hand, a large viscosity oil has a large trapping ability, and can capture a large body of molybdenite and molybdenite. Therefore, the use of a highly viscous oil as a collector has a high recovery rate.
From the point of view of the nature and yield of the foam, the same is true. The oil with low viscosity is used as the collector of molybdenite. The foam color is light and dry, and the yield is low, so the grade is high. The oil with high viscosity is used as the molybdenite. The color of the foam is deep and wet, and the yield is large, so the recovery rate is high and the grade is low.
