Invest 400 million yuan to build a regional gathering place for high-end machinery brands

On October 28th, the author was informed by the Dongguan City Hardware and Machinery Mould Industry Association that the association planned to spend RMB 400 million with an investor to build a South China Machine Tool Exhibition Center (hereafter “the center”) in Chang’an Town to create a high-end PRD Machinery brand regional headquarters gathering place. It is reported that the center will focus on planning the introduction of 50 to 100 regional headquarters of well-known mechanical brands, which will become an important trading platform for brand machinery and a window for corporate image and product features.

According to relevant person in charge of the Dongguan Hardware Machinery Mould Industry Association, the project plans to use 300 to 400 acres of land. Among them, the exhibition and trade zone covers an area of ​​200 to 300 acres and is equipped with testing centers, engineering centers and other supporting ancillary items. The total construction area of ​​the project is between 250,000 and 300,000 square meters, and the total investment is about 400 million yuan. After completion, it is expected that the associated investment will be more than 1 billion yuan, and the annual average sales volume will be 5 billion to 10 billion yuan.

At present, the center is planning and designing, and it is expected to begin construction at the beginning of next year and it is expected to be delivered in 2012.
