The so-called hydraulic mining method is a method of high pressure water jets of water emitted during mining of sand to complete the gold mine. The hydraulic mining method is suitable for general cementation and less hard ore bodies, requiring the ore body to be buried shallow and the bottom plate to be flat.
The water is pumped up by the water pump and then fed into the water gun. Then the high-pressure water column shot by the water gun impacts the working surface, causing the ore to collapse, shatter and flow into the slurry pool along the transport ditch, and then pumped to the gold selection plant.
The hydraulic mining method consists of three basic operations: topsoil stripping, ore mining, and hydraulic transportation:
     1. Topsoil stripping When the topsoil layer is thick, it can be removed by mechanical (tractor, bulldozer). When the topsoil layer is thin, it can be removed by direct water gun shock wave method.
     2. Mineral sand mining The high-pressure water column emitted by the water gun is flushed out of the working surface to cause the ore to collapse and disintegrate.
     3. Hydraulic transportation The sand ore that is about to be rushed will flow into the ore pool under the action of hydraulic force, and then pumped to the gold selection plant by sand pumping.
The advantage of hydraulic mining is that the production process is continuous, the efficiency is high, and the ore is basically disintegrated during the mining process, thus facilitating the washing of the gold. The disadvantage is that the water consumption and power consumption are large, the sand pump and the mortar pipeline are seriously worn, and the equipment moves frequently.
