[ Instrument Network Instrument Development ] On March 29, 2019, the Hubei Provincial Market Supervision Administration organized the acceptance of the science and technology project “Embedded Mobile Micro Flow Device Research†undertaken by Wuhan Metrology Institute. The meeting was presided over by Director Wang Yongyu of the Hubei Provincial Market Supervision Administration, and the acceptance expert group consisted of five experts led by Hu Xiang, deputy chief engineer of Hubei Institute of Metrology and Testing Technology. Director Hong Chuanwen, chief engineer Fang Chunquan and project leader and main members Xu Jianping, Guo Junyao, Li Pengwei and so on participated in the acceptance meeting. After carefully reviewing the materials, questions and discussions, the expert group agreed that the research team completed the task well and agreed to pass the acceptance.
This project has obtained many scientific research results such as patents and papers. The embedded mobile micro-liquid flow calibration device has expanded the measurement range of flow. After testing by China Institute of Metrology, its technical indicators have reached and exceeded the technology in the plan. Indicators have a good application effect. The device can be moved separately or embedded in the general flow device of the metrology and inspection department, and meets the requirements of JJG164 "Liquid Flow Standard Device Calibration Regulations". The device uses a patent for the extension bracket, electric commutator, self-centering chuck device, and variable-diameter universal joint to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the verification. Self-centering chuck device, portable, simple and reliable operation, can effectively improve the installation accuracy of the flowmeter and the efficiency of the clamp, and meet the clamping requirements of various flowmeters. The variable-diameter flow universal joint can be embedded in the liquid large-flow standard device, extending the large-flow device in the measurement range of small flow, improving the calibration accuracy of small flow and small flow, and also connecting the flow of various pipes detected/calibrated on site. Easy to implement on-site inspection/calibration. The device can be used to detect various DN4-DN15 micro flowmeters in a short time.
