China National Heavy Duty Truck Group produced 54,381 heavy vehicles in the first quarter, up 66.1% year-on-year; 53.915 heavy-duty cars were sold, an increase of 69.1% year-on-year. Among them, the production and sales of heavy trucks in March exceeded 20,000, an increase of more than 20%.
CNHTC introduced that since the beginning of this year, due to the continuous improvement of national policies and the economy, the heavy-duty truck market has been extremely hot, orders have been full, and user demand has increased substantially, showing a trend of both production and sales.
Sinotruk seized the opportunity of a new round of market, adhered to the theme of adjusting industrial structure, transforming growth mode, and independent innovation, seizing opportunities, developing scientifically, implementing lean management in an all-round manner, strong product sales, strong demand, and demand for engineering vehicles. Far more than road vehicles; sales of new products such as HOWO-A7, mining vehicles and natural gas vehicles continued to increase; tractors continued to grow.
CNHTC said that the good start of the first quarter has laid a solid foundation for CNHTC to complete its 2010 production and sales targets.
