According to analysis by the industry, Great Wall Motor's anti-market selling reaffirmed the correctness of its “focus strategy”. The new technology center will have nine leading international centers: power center, modeling center, trial production center, test center and engineering center, and four product development centers. They will develop SUVs, pickup trucks and cars, including technical pre-research, BENCHMARK, Conceptual design, modeling design, simulation design, engineering design, trial production trials, process design, manufacturing and after-sales support, and lifecycle technical data management. On November 1, 2010, a total investment of 500 million yuan, covers an area of ​​925,000 square meters of Great Wall Motor New Test Ground started construction, including high-speed loop, dynamic square, test mountain, analog city square and maneuvering road and many other Test road, total test mileage more than 40 kilometers. The length of the high-speed loop is 7,019 meters, the highest designed speed of the curve is 240km/h, which is the highest in China. The dynamic square has a diameter of 300 meters and the test speed is higher than 160km/h.

It is reported that Great Wall Motors also insists on integrating the world's top technical cooperation resources to carry out independent innovation, and cooperates with Mahler, Ricardo, BorgWarner, GIF, and NTC in engine and transmission design; in the four-wheel drive technology, with Borger Warner and GKN cooperation; cooperation with France Dassault and Japan YARK on vehicle design; cooperation with Bosch, Delphi and Siemens on vehicle emission control technology; cooperation with Germany's Brose on vehicle door system; French Valeo cooperation; cooperation with Sweden's Autolif in the occupant protection system; cooperation with TRW in the field of vehicle active and passive safety.

At present, the three major regulatory systems of the United States, Japan, and Europe have been established, statutory standards for 179 countries and target export markets have been collected, and in-depth cooperation with internationally recognized certification agencies such as VCA and TUV has been carried out, and official organizations in more than 30 countries have been established. According to reports, Great Wall Motors will pursue the pursuit of "excellence" in quality. In 2013, a number of high-quality new models, including the 2013 Haval H5, 2013 Haval H6, Haval M46, and Haval H2, Great Wall C50 Sport, will be introduced. In the future, Great Wall Motors aims to be the world's first economical SUV, the world's first economic pickup, the Chinese SUV, and China's pickup truck sales.
