EN6cd01702e816a15ae601b9137e178645 Lamp Controller Requirements
EN6cd01702e816a15ae601b9137e178645 The luminaire controller requires changes to the grounding content as follows:
1. Protective grounding regulations
The electrical connection or clamping method is effective against loosening and prevents the grounding wire from loosening without the use of tools. For unthreaded terminals, it must be such that the electrical connections are not loosened under unintentional conditions. All components of the grounding terminal shall be capable of minimizing electrolytic corrosion due to contact, including the effects of electrolytic corrosion from contact with grounding conductors or any other metal component. Screws or grounding terminals can be used to reduce corrosion by using brass or other corrosion-resistant metals, or materials with corrosion-resistant surfaces, but at least one of the contact surfaces must be bare metal.
2. Functional grounding regulations
The functional ground terminal first meets the same requirements as the protective grounding of the strip.
The requirements for double or reinforced insulation between the functionally grounded contacts (or potential) and the charged body in the controller.
3. Protective ground on the PCB
If the PCB trace is used as the internal ground, the stand-alone, built-in or integrated controller must meet the following requirements:
Connect the grounding terminal or the grounding trace on the PCB board and each accessible metal part to AC current for 25 minutes for 1 minute. 4. Grounding of the built-in controller
The built-in controller can be grounded by fixing it to a grounded luminaire housing.
If the controller has a ground terminal, this ground terminal can only be used for grounding the built-in controller.
Grounding of the luminaire or grounding of other equipment is not allowed through the built-in controller.
5. Stand-alone controller grounding
a) Ground connection to other equipment
The ground terminal of the stand-alone luminaire controller allows connection to other equipment during installation. For loop or pass-through wiring, the conductors have a conductor cross-section of at least 1,5 mm? and are copper, or a similar conductor material.
The protective earthing conductor in the luminaire shall meet the requirements of 5.3.1.1 and Section 7 of IEC 60598-1:2008. For pass-through wiring, the minimum cross-sectional area is 1,5 mm?.
b) 9.5.2 Grounding of luminaires powered by stand-alone controllers
The ground terminal of the stand-alone luminaire controller can be directly connected to the luminaire powered by the controller.
