Abstract: Meat muffin packaging often uses nitrogen-filled packaging, which has the effect of reducing the oxygen concentration inside the packaging and preventing the muffin from deteriorating. This article uses the VAC-VBS differential pressure gas permeability tester to test the nitrogen permeability of meat muffin packaging to verify its ability to store nitrogen filled inside the packaging, and briefly introduces the test principle, application scope and test process of the equipment, etc. Therefore, it provides an important basis for enterprises to screen packaging materials filled with nitrogen.

4.1 Test principle
This equipment is designed by using the differential pressure test principle. The test chamber of the equipment is divided into upper and lower two. The upper chamber is a high pressure chamber and the lower chamber is a low pressure chamber. During the test, the two test chambers maintain a constant pressure difference. The sample is clamped between the test chambers, the lower chamber valve is opened, the vacuum chamber is evacuated, and then the entire system is evacuated. After the specified vacuum degree is reached, the lower chamber is closed and the pressure chamber is filled with a certain pressure. The test gas forms a constant pressure difference on both sides of the sample. Under the influence of the pressure difference, the gas penetrates from the high pressure side to the low pressure side. Through the monitoring of the pressure in the low pressure chamber, the gas permeability of the sample is calculated. .
4.2 Scope of application
(1) This equipment is applicable to the gas permeability test of various films and sheets.
Films: Film materials such as various plastic films, plastic composite films, paper-plastic composite films, co-extruded films, aluminized films, aluminum foils, and aluminum foil composite films. The temperature range of the sample is 15 ~ 55 °C , and the temperature control accuracy is ±0.1 °C . (1) Cut 3 specimens with a diameter of 80 mm from the sample surface with a cutter .
(2) Apply a layer of vacuum grease to the periphery of the equipment test chamber. The sample shall be affixed to the test chamber with no air bubbles and clamped with the specimen clamping structure. Three specimens were mounted on the three test chambers of the apparatus in this manner .

6 , test results
