Into the East China Sea Chemical Base, for example, to visit a garden-style enterprise, there is no big chimney smoked here, the sky is still blue sky and white clouds, all the green water comes from the recycling water treatment of wastewater, only the annual water-saving More than 250,000 tons, saving energy and reducing emissions.
This is just one of the highlights of the energy conservation and emission reduction work of China Eastern Chemical Base. The person in charge of China Sea Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China National Chemicals) said that in addition to saving water, the company also achieved significant results in wastewater treatment and CO2 emission reduction. He said that China National Offshore Oil Corporation has included energy conservation and emission reduction in its eleventh five-year development plan, formulated a clear target for energy conservation and emission reduction, and each secondary unit has also signed a letter of responsibility for energy conservation targets with the head office.
Improve operating skills
According to reports, the best way for a chemical company to save energy and reduce emissions is to allow the plant to operate for a long period of time, with only a long period of operation of the plant. The overall energy consumption of the product is the lowest, and only three wastes are discharged. In order to ensure the long-term operation of the equipment, China Overseas Chemical adopts the method of improving the staff's operating skills, and adopts the normal mode of management such as division and practice, which greatly improves the staff's operation level. In the past six months, the 600,000-ton methanol plant has created a 150-day historical best, and the Fudao-II plant has also completed the second 100-day long cycle last year.
Last year, CNOOC invested nearly 30 million yuan to build a set of 8,000 cubic meters of accidental sewage pools to handle a large number of emergency sewage treatment, to ensure the discharge of wastewater to zero pollution. Due to the low daily emissions, the sewage treatment system is running at full capacity.
Development of environmental protection projects
The Eastern 1-1 gas field is one of the largest gas reserves in China that has been identified and developed. The natural gas produced by this gas field is characterized by its high carbon dioxide content. In order to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emissions, China Overseas Chemical will increase scientific research and develop environmental protection projects. In 2006, the company completed and put into production a food-grade carbon dioxide project with an annual output of 30,000 tons, and can recycle 24 million standard cubic meters of exhaust gas each year. The annual output of 3,600 tons of carbon degradable plastics project also started last year. This project is a technology development and industrialization pilot project that uses carbon dioxide to produce degradable plastics, which can create conditions for the large-scale use of carbon dioxide. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in June 2008.
Focus on small energy consumption points
In addition, CNOOC has also focused its attention on minor energy consumption points such as reducing unnecessary lighting spots in the installation area; in the summer season, it is necessary to adjust lighting supply time according to changes in the sky; It is set at 26 degrees Celsius or above; the company office uses natural light throughout the day.
Yang Yexin, chief executive officer and president of China Shipping Chemical Co., Ltd., said that it is important to develop industries to boost the economy, but if it is to waste resources and damage the environment, the company would rather not develop.
China Shipping Chemicals is one of the major enterprises stationed in Dongfang Chemical City. At present, the company has three sets of chemical plants at the Hainan base. They are: 520,000 tons of Fuzhou Phase I urea plant, 800,000 tons of Fudao Phase II urea plant, 60 Million tons of methanol devices.
