The China High-Tech Industrialization Research Association hosted the scientific and technological achievements evaluation meeting of “HGLN-High Conductivity Copper Alloy New Materials†independently researched and developed by Sichuan Lianghui Copper Material Co., Ltd. and Yingjing County Guoliang Copper Material Factory in Beijing. The evaluation committee believes that the conductivity of the project's products has reached the international advanced level, and it is recommended to further increase the promotion efforts to meet market demand.
The relevant person in charge of the evaluation committee told the reporter that the international standard for conductivity of copper alloy is 100% (Ié„„ACS), which has been going on for many years. Experts and scholars at home and abroad have been discussing how to further improve the conductivity. In recent years, some experts have proposed a theoretical basis that can exceed 102% (IACS), but no specific production process has been studied.
Sichuan Lianghui Copper Material Co., Ltd. independently developed special additives and vacuum melting processes based on rare earth elements. The purity of the copper raw material is improved and the microstructure of the copper ingot is improved. The company uses high-quality electric copper as a raw material, adding non-radioactive rare earth metals, rare metals and special additives for its own invention, using special processes and equipment to produce this new material. At the same time, it developed its own vacuum melting equipment.
The reporter learned at the meeting that at present, the project uses vacuum medium frequency induction melting process, breaks through the key technology of high conductivity copper alloy production, and builds a high-conductivity copper alloy production line with an annual output of 5,000 tons. Tested by China Testing and Research Institute and Sichuan Provincial Product Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Institute, the products meet the relevant standards and the electrical conductivity reaches 106.3% (IACS). Related technologies have been declared 2 national invention patents.
Experts at the conference told the reporter that the optimized performance of HGLN-high conductivity silver-free copper alloy new materials ranks first in the world and is a strategic new material that is urgently needed by the country. It can be widely used in military, aerospace, shipbuilding, high-speed rail and subway. , electric vehicles, electronic and electrical, Internet big data, communications equipment and other fields.
