I think everyone here knows that Bosch is a parts and components company, serves the OEM, and ultimately serves the driver of the car. The theme of today’s conference is about future new energy, and Bosch is very much in agreement with Dr. Werner Schnappauf’s strategy. For example, "Umbrella Strategy", he cited all the technical routes, etc. I think it is very good. Actually, it is two aspects to Bosch:
The first is the new energy strategy. Last year I said that many friends in the media also know that Bosch has invested a lot in new energy, including several routes listed in the umbrella strategy, including pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and hybrid. The power is the simplest and most suitable. At present, a large amount of start-stop systems have been put in Europe. With the help of external technologies that reduce the energy consumption of cars and vehicle emissions, Bosch has conducted very in-depth research in the past ten years to provide customers with A lot of products.
In the current European market, the start-stop system has accounted for more than 50% of the car market, as a standard configuration. With deeper hybrids, we have invested in Peugeot, Cayenne and Volkswagen, including diesel hybrid vehicles.
In pure electric vehicles, we have also invested a lot of research. There are currently more than 200 people in China engaged in the research and development of pure electric and hybrid-related products. It may not be known to everyone that hybrids, especially pure electric vehicles, are The moving system also needs quite a lot of improvements, so we have a team in Suzhou that specializes in the solution of the brake system for pure electric vehicles. The actuators and ESP cooperation inside are dedicated to providing the best solution for customers.
Call for the implementation of Euro IV standards for commercial vehicles next year
Just now I talked about new energy. The second point I would like to emphasize is the traditional power. Bosch has always called for increasing the technical difficulty in traditional gasoline engines and diesel engines on many occasions, including many occasions in China, to increase the applicability of technology. The reduction in fuel consumption in China and its contribution to the reduction of energy consumption in China, such as the relatively popular technology, direct injection of petrol engines and miniaturization, two Japanese friends introduced Toyota and Nissan in the miniaturization of direct injection gasoline engines. Work, Bosch can be said to be the first domestic high-pressure pump used in domestic direct injection, direct injection nozzles, electronic controllers and other products are made in Jiangsu Wuxi and Shanghai, we have done a lot in this regard; Of course, not to mention cleaning diesel. Bosch has demonstrated the application of diesel vehicles in the European market over the past decade and the energy consumption has been declining. Everyone also knows that in the 2nd and 3rd European Standards, our national standard implementation was not very strict. Going back to what Dr. Werner Schnappauf just said, he said that there will be 1 million new energy vehicles on the German market in 2020, and Bosch is also working on this because we provide the main components and parts; in the Chinese market, the government has done With the planning of new energy, by 2020 we will have to maintain the inventory of 5 million new energy vehicles.
