Liaoyang Petrochemical Company's self-provided thermal power plant consumes 1.5 million tons of coal each year. In order to reduce coal consumption, Liaoyang Petrochemical Company has changed its previous method of tonnage procurement by tender to settle the calorific value, establish a complete set of coal calorific value detection methods before the furnace, and establish a purchase and sales alliance with large state-owned coal mines to form the main channel for supply. Under the conditions of open tendering, the past 29 coal suppliers were reduced to nine. Due to the change in the coal procurement model, the “multiple birds with one stone” effect was generated, which not only reduced operating costs and commercial risks, but also resulted in a significant increase in the quality of incoming coal, and due to the decline of ash, equipment wear was reduced. The failure rate of the furnace and the standby power rate of the plant have dropped significantly, and the environmental pressure of the fly ash disposal has also been greatly eased. Only this one, the whole company can reduce coal consumption by 120,000 tons per year, reduce 180,000 tons of fly ash and reduce electricity consumption by 4.352 million kwh.
At the same time, Liaoyang Petrochemical Company increased investment in terminal management, arranged 446 million yuan of funds, implemented 14 major environmental protection potential treatment projects such as thermal power plant boiler flue gas desulfurization and 440 sewage treatment plant pretreatment, and reduced pollutants. External emissions have increased the level of compliance. It invested in the construction of a number of gas recovery tanks and other recycling facilities to maximize the recovery of tail gas such as ethylene and liquid ammonia. Liaoyang Petrochemical Company also introduced part of the domestic sewage in the social area into the company's sewage treatment plant for biochemical treatment, and improved the social environment.
