The on-site operation control method is SM-PROFIBUS-DP bus mode. In the past, oxygen gun high-pressure water supply was realized by high-voltage motors. two. The overall plan determines:
EV3500 frequency converter has many kinds of control methods of pump load in practical application, and can meet the requirement of the craft.
Switching control easily leads to misoperation and increases the operator's working strength.
Taking into account the distance between the main control room and the frequency converter cabinet, analog control will be subject to distance restrictions and strong electrical interference and will produce attenuation.
Adding faulty contacts between devices is not convenient for device maintenance.
The use of SM-PROFIBUS-DP communication control can make up for the shortcomings of the above two control methods and realize unattended operation. The maintenance of the control circuit is simple and convenient. Only one 2-core DP cable is used to meet the start-stop control of the EV3500 inverter. four. EV3500 debugging process:
The first step is to correctly set the motor nameplate parameters and motor self-tuning

Self-tuning the motor, there are two kinds of tuning methods, static and rotating self-tuning. Under conditional conditions, the input rotation parameters are set so that the power factor of the motor can be measured.
If the motor is loaded and cannot remove the load on the motor shaft, static parameter identification can be performed. Static parameter identification Measure the stator resistance (Pr5.17) and voltage offset (Pr5.23), set Pr0.40=1, and provide the inverter with an enable signal (terminal 31) and a running signal (terminal 26 or terminal 27).
Motor no-load can perform rotation parameter identification. Because of the new equipment in the steelmaking system, the conditions for the no-load test of the motor are available. Before the drive motor rotates a 2/3 base forward several seconds (regardless of the speed reference and the selected direction), the rotation parameter first performs the stationary parameter identification, except for measuring the stator resistance (Pr5.17) and voltage parabolism (Pr5.23). The rotation parameter identification also measures the motor power factor and Pr0.43 is the correct value. Set Pr0.40=2 and provide inverter with enable signal (terminal 31) and running signal (terminal 26 or terminal 27).
After the parameter identification test is completed, the inverter will enter the "Inh" state. The inverter must be in the "Inh" state before the drive sets the setpoint operation.
The second step DP network detects the start and stop of the inverter, and the operating frequency is controlled by the host computer. The quality of the DP cable that connects the host computer to the PROFIBUS bus interface module is particularly important. Enable the terminal resistance of the connector of the host CPU. We use the inverter as the end device of the DP network. Also enable the terminating resistor at the connector of the DP cable of the PROFIBUS interface module at the end, and measure the end of the connector A1 with the multimeter. The resistance between B1 and B1 shall be 142Ω (including the resistance value of the wire diameter). When the termination resistance of the endmost connector is turned off, the resistance value of the measured termination resistor shall be 262Ω, indicating that the inverter and the host computer network The connection is good. It can communicate normally and parameterize the inverter.
If the resistance value is greater than 262Ω, there is a problem with the DP network connection. Check if the DP cable connector is loosely connected and the position of the incoming cable and outgoing cable is correct. Check whether the red line of the cable corresponds to the green line of A1 and A2 and B1 and B2. Whether the network cable has a medium-break line.
After confirming that the DP cable is correct, set Pr15.03=10. The communication address is the same as the host computer address. Check Pr15.06= -1. If Pr15.06= -3 is disconnected from the host computer, check if the program screen of the host computer can be read. Inverter, everything is correctly set to communicate with the host computer.
The third step is to set the relevant operating parameters of the EV3500 inverter and initially carry the test run.
Setting parameters Note:
After all the parameters are set and saved, the inverter will be powered off and re-powered to check the display status of parameters Pr15.06 and Pr15.49. When Pr15.06=-3, Pr15.49=111 or 113. This indicates that the inverter communication is faulty and check the DP network cable.
When Pr15.06=-1, Pr15.49=0, the inverter waits for communication with the upper computer.
When Pr15.06 = 1, Pr15.49=0, the communication is normal and the baud rate is 9600 bps.
When Pr15.06 = 70 and Pr15.49 = 0, the communication is normal and the baud rate is 19200 bps. In normal communication, the inverter automatically detects the baud rate of the upper computer.
When parameter Pr15.06 shows that the value is blinking frequently, it indicates that the communication with the host computer queries the baud rate, and Pr15.32=on can be initialized with the center of gravity.
Parameter Pr15.10-Pr15.19 provides the “status word†of the inverter for the upper computer. The upper computer displays the operating frequency, current and working status of the inverter on the screen by reading Pr15.10-Pr15.19. The 15.12-15.19 setting must be continuous and is the RO parameter in Pr0.00-Pr21.51. Set other parameters or RW parameters can not be identified by the upper computer.

After the inverter is running, only the value of the DC bus voltage of the inverter can be seen on the host computer, and the frequency and rated current of the motor are invisible. After several settings and debugging, the parameters set in Pr15.12-Pr15.19 are found, only the RO parameters in Pr0.00-Pr21.51 are read in, and the RW parameters cannot be read. The unused "status word" is occupied with "0". By communicating with the site process, the final parameters Pr15.12 = 401, Pr15.13 = 1001, Pr15.13 = 1002.
2: Motor problems found during commissioning:
During the trial run, it was found that the No. 2 oxygen gun high-pressure water pump was in the no-load state, the operating current was 140 A at a frequency of 40 Hz, and the speed=1140 r/min was normal. When running with a load, the operating current is 145A when the frequency = 40Hz. The inverter's controller displays the speed = 1150r/min, and the actual speed of the field motor is very low. It is still this state after a few trial revolutions. Make sure that one of the inverter or motor is inevitably problematic. Considering that the motor insulation class is B, it is doubted whether the insulation is not good or the cable is not well insulated. Take off the U, V, W three-phase cable of the frequency converter, and measure the insulation of the cable and the motor casing with a 500 MΩ æº meter. No problem. Discovered through the guide cable 2 # drive to drive another motor is all normal, and finally the motor manufacturers came to the scene to open the lid to detect the motor found that the motor rotor is not handled properly in the process, there is a small iron is not processed out to the motor running Severe leakage flux.
Precautions:
In the communication state, the EV3500 inverter has a fault. If the host computer cannot be reset or reset function exists, the inverter must be powered off and restarted to reset the fault before the inverter can be restarted. The motor works.
