Amers launches AS7225 adjustable white light intelligent lighting system sensor

The introduction of the AS7225 enables lighting OEMs to use Amers Semiconductor's closed-loop color temperature tuning and daylight compensation technology in their original microprocessor-based intelligent lighting designs. The AS7225 is equipped with the industry's first color sensor based on the International Commission on Illumination (CIE) 1931 color space XYZ tristimulus to make color perception more accurate. The CIE standard is recognized as the standard for human perception of color. Color temperature and daylight adjustment commands can be transmitted to the host microprocessor via a standard I2C interface, enabling IoT intelligent lighting manufacturers to effectively avoid costly calibration and algorithm development adjustments while reducing deployment time.
