7.53 million He Shi Normal University professors have been funded by the National Key Scientific Research Instrument Project

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] On August 20th, the reporter learned from Henan Normal University that the National Natural Science Foundation of China has announced the project acceptance of the project in 2016. The topic of “Low Temperature Spectral Emissivity Measurement Experimental Device” hosted by Prof. Liu Yufang of the school was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for the research and development of key scientific instruments. The implementation period of the project was five years and the direct funds were 7.359 million yuan.

The national major scientific research instrument development project (formerly the national special scientific research instrument and equipment development special project) is oriented to scientific frontiers and national needs, guided by scientific goals, encourages and fosters the development of exploratory scientific research instruments with original ideas, and supports major original scientific research instruments. The development of equipment provides innovative means and tools for scientific research and comprehensively enhances China's original innovation capabilities.

Liu Yufang's research group has long been engaged in the research of spectral emissivity measurement technology. In the past decade, for the needs of the industry, we have successfully developed a spectral emissivity measurement device with different wavelength ranges and temperature ranges, which solved some technical problems in the emissivity measurement technology field.

The "low-temperature spectral emissivity measurement experimental device" plans to develop a high-accuracy measuring device with a measuring temperature of -60 shy; ~100 and a wavelength of 1 m to 1000 m to fill the gaps in domestic research. In the fields of aerospace and other fields, low-temperature spectral emissivity measurement is provided to study the variation of low-temperature spectral emissivity of various materials and promote the standardization of spectral emissivity measurement technology.

The establishment and implementation of the project marked a new step in the innovation research of Henan Normal University in the development of cryogenic spectral emissivity measurement experimental devices. The university is expected to establish a set of low-, medium- , High-temperature spectral emissivity measurement system.
